When you want to move freely in the mountains, you need trousers that are just as mobile. The lightweight Bergtagen Stretch Trousers are perfect for hiking and backpacking, with reinforcements in hardwearing nylon, reinforced knees (so the pants don’t have to be constantly readjusted), etc. The nylon resists wear and tear, so you don’t need to worry about wearing these trousers on a sunnier day. The Bergtagen Stretch trouser is so versatile, you can use it for everything from high altitude mountaineering and everyday outdoor use to a quick trip to the gas bottle. You can fasten a harness in the back, use a hip belt, etc., but the waistband and back elastic do not go over the belt. You can, however, use a climbing belt if you get really ambitious and want to tie a no-slip drawcord instead.
